Shirred Waist Skirts are back in stock

As most of you will know by now, we work with small artisan manufacturers in India that produce our wonderful clothes. Like anything this has its pros and cons, and one of the downsides is the limited production capacity.

When we first launched the Shirred Waist Skirt in the long length, they sold out very quickly, and it has literally taken months to get more stock (partly because we had already ordered the same thing in Midi length).
 
They are now back in stock! The skirts themselves are handmade and by that, I mean the shirring is done by a single person on a sewing machine one line at a time, not on a big industrial machine creating ten rows at a time. This means that you have another element of uniqueness on top of the fabric. It’s always nice to walk down the road knowing you won’t bump into someone wearing the same thing, and of course we all love the compliments these garments seem to get us.
 
Available in the long length 92cms or 36” drop or the midi length 81cms or 32” drop they are lightweight and have a very flattering waistline and make an ideal item for the summer wardrobe.

If the skirt is marked as sheer, an under slip or 'boy shorts' are all you need. Contrasting under slips also look great. You will find that the sheer skirts are chiffon like, with a super lightweight drape. If you’re looking for the lightest floaty skirts around, then we have them here. They come in all five sizes.
