The mornings are getting cooler, but it can still be quite hot at lunchtime. So what do you wear while the seasons blow hot and cold like I do (and many other women) during the night?
Layers.
Your sari wrap skirt will keep you warm during the cooler months and since the layered skirts are just that, the extra fabric as the days cool down will be welcome without feeling stifling.
We’ve also noticed a change in what our customers are purchasing. Short skirts are not quite as popular right now but the extra long are once again in hot demand which makes perfect sense. Teamed with a long sleeve top and boots, or a thick wooly in the depths of winter, the extra length will keep you nice and toasty. Why not wear a pair of leggings underneath for extra snugness? Of course, extra long won’t suit everyone but consider trying a longer length than you usually wear if you can get away with it.
Choose colours to suit the seasons as well as yourself. We will promote seasonal skirts as they arrive so you may notice a more autumnal feel creeping on to the website and we’ll keep the paler pastels aside ready for spring. Bold vivid colours span the whole year round so you’ll see them regularly. If we get a heavier fabric skirt, we will make a point of mentioning it in the product description. If you are on the lookout for something in particular, birds of prey print for instance, drop me a line.
As always, we love to see skirts out in the wild (all our products actually) so if you have any photos of your own to share, feel free to send them in.
I look forward to seeing what you choose over the coming days and weeks.
